Deze modules zijn geschikt voor beginnende therapeuten geïnteresseerd in de handtherapie .
Module I basis – 22 april, deze module is gericht op de handaandoeningen: CTS – Ganglion – Artrose – Trigger finger – Mallet finger – Dupuytren – De Quervain- CMC 1 artrose.
Module 2 basis – 27 mei 2016: Traumas van de hand en pols. Tijdens de lessen zal aandacht zijn voor de wondgenezing na trauma. Onderwerpen zijn luxaties van het PIP gewricht (volaire plaats letsel) en het MCP van de duim (skiduim), en van de pols (SL dissociatie, TFCC, DRU).

Op vrijdag 18 december was de certificaatuitreiking van de 14e jaargang van de Praktijkopleiding Handtherapie. Deze vond plaats aan het eind van het Hand Therapy – Surgery Symposium in het Erasmus MC. In totaal zijn er nu 293 POHT gecertificeerden.

Op 27 september j.l. is overleden onze gewaardeerde collega en handtherapeut Niek Bransz.
Niek is 1,5 jaar geleden ziek geworden en werd slechts 39 jaar.
Niek was handtherapeut en fysiotherapeut in Isala in Zwolle, waar hij zich de laatste jaren volledig heeft toegelegd op de handtherapie binnen ons Isala Hand-Polscentrum .
Niek is daarnaast een aantal jaren contactpersoon en begeleider voor de POHT in Rotterdam geweest.
Hij was kundig en gedreven in zijn vak. De uitgebreide en complexe letsels waren zijn grote passie en uitdaging. Ook zijn vindingrijkheid en creativiteit in het maken van spalken was bijzonder te noemen.
In Niek verliezen wij een fijne, ervaren en zeer kundige handtherapeut en collega.
We zullen hem enorm missen.
